Mariana Munoz is an award-winning bilingual (Spanish/English) interdisciplinary artist who lives and works on the traditional unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations (Vancouver, BC). She is a force like no other and can find her backstage and onstage in both theatre or film, working as a producer, set designer, writer, director, actor, stage manager, or video editor. As a graduate of Studio 58 and with a Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts, Mariana hopes to share and create diverse stories in her community. Past credits include Apprentice Stage Manager with East Van Panto’s Alice in Wonderland as well as original virtual performances like Backyard Warriors-A Virtual Interactive Online Adventure created in the summer of 2021, One of a Kind shown at Vancouver’s International Children’s Festival, and Mission Jolly- A Holiday Online Extravaganza in winter 2020.
