David Gagnon Walker has written a play for himself and a roomful of strangers. It’s the imaginary story of an imaginary child in an imaginary land. It’s also the story of David’s inner life and the landscape of his mind. There are parts for everyone who’d like to join, and seats for everyone who’d like to watch. There are scripts to read and things to play with. A poetic, innovative performance about the psychological challenge of living in uncertain times, it’s also an invitation for audiences to join in on the artistic process, and a playful leap of faith into the power of a roomful of people discovering a new story by creating it with each other.
